ABOUT

Hi there! I'm Josh Hammond, a Level Designer & Technical Designer. I love working in new and existing IP and help bring new creative and innovative ideas to life!

I've always had an interest in game development and have explored a lot of different areas along the way including: producing, systems & AI programming, environment modelling, UI, UX, and finally landing on Systems/Tech design.

My basic process involves: Concept, Prototype, Gameplay Systems, Content Creation, & Polish. This process allows me to identify areas that are and aren't working early on, bear mistakes and learn from them, and continually improve the project and myself.

As a content and technical designer, I design and implement unique levels, tight mechanics, and memorable gameplay events. I also liaise across disciplines to ensure everyone understands designs and concepts.

I pride myself on my desire to constantly learn more and my self-driven work ethic. With my desire to learn more, I am always open to stepping out of my comfort zone and learning a new skill or discipline!

Other than making games, I enjoy hockey, racing, Star Wars, and all things Disney!
