Six Down is a western 2D top down shooter developed by myself and 6 other students in our own custom C++ game engine over the course of 8 months.
Producer:
I was responsible for meeting deadlines, creating prioritization lists, the hiring and firing of team members and delegating tasks to individuals based on their strengths and weaknesses.
Game Designer:
I iterated all the core game mechanics based on playtest data and user feedback. Mechanics I iterated include but are not limited to: Shooting, Health to Damage Ratios, AI Behavior, Environments, and Movement.
Lead Level Designer:
I was responsible for the design, implementation and iteration of 4 out of the 5 game levels. I designed these levels with the goal in mind that each has a unique hook and theme.
